Adi Da Asks

This manner of "conducting consideration" was (and is) the Way Siddha Adi Da and I (Julie) lived our relationship for the 40 years I was relating to him humanly and spiritually while living either in intimate proximity or at a distance, it made no difference if I was "close or far". There was nothing pre-written or pre-programmed about this relationship we shared. He was not acting as an abstract and objectified authority figure that I was blindly being led by and submitting to. I did however, at times, make many mistakes in how I related to the authority I recognized in/as "Him". And he likewise indicated to me when he also made a mistake. All the while this relationship was always a very detailed, "no stone unturned" Reality Truth Consideration that I consented to participate in. 

The most astounding paradox is that this very Reality Truth Consideration is still ALIVE, even after the death of Adi Da's physical body. He is not talking to me in the same manner, but the sensitivity to what He (AS TRUTH IS) points to in this dialog from 2004 (see below) is always present and active. Irrevocably so.  All of these questions proposed in the images here in this post are Adi Da's question to a devotee that  experienced a sudden, dreadful, traumatic event in his life.

Sadly, the entirety of this transcript and many many more that demonstrate the realities of Adi Da's interactions with hundreds of devotees in the last 10 years of his life are being withheld by the institutionalized governing authority and leadership. Absurdly "cultic insiderism" reasons that make no heart sense at all. Adi Da is being closeted by those who presume to "worship" "Him".

In this conversation, Adi Da lovingly and firmly persists with the devotee, asking questions to help the devotee understand his situation and how best to relate to it.    

Paraphrasing a small section of Adi Da’s Words from this interchange in 2004:

“There's nothing wrong, in itself, with feeling the limitations of life. And it's not inherently problematic to know about mortality and the dreadful situation that human beings are actually living in, in terms of the possibilities of suffering and death and loss and so on.

Many people have this experience and virtually everybody does in some fashion or another. Everybody gets the taste of mortality, you see. It obviously affects your behavior and should, in fact, affect your behavior. Its one of the signs in your life that should be interesting for you to observe is how even though you have this experience of mortality, you still pursue life-fulfillment in a conventional manner. Whereas, some people might have gone to the monastery the next day and retired from the world. You could have done that, or something along those lines, based on just getting a stark picture of life, and have it move you profoundly to renunciation of the pursuit of life-fulfillment. It's experiences of that kind, of finding out the mortal nature of things, that have made a lot of people into hermits or renunciates, you see.”
