Stuart shares many anecdotes of his personal interactions with Adi Da, speaking openly about his views on many aspects of the Guru devotee relationship.

Julie's comment posted in YouTube:

"Thank you Stuart for braving the waters here. And thank you Steven for your open hearted disposition and insightful questions. Decades of personal experience have led me to disengage from the ongoing conflicts between Adidam insiders, disgruntled devotee expats and outside critics. Viewing the varied comments here confirm why I have made this free choice. Overzealous critics who claim to act as "warning voices" often end up causing both intentional and unintentional harm. By targeting student devotees and others who do not share their views, these individuals act on uneducated prejudices. In their crusade to criticize Adi Da Samraj, Adidam, and its followers, they become hypercritical, threatening bullies themselves. Ultimately, their crusade is unfair, unnecessary, and lacking in true honesty, heart, and compassion. Overzealous Adi Da cultists will positively respond but as a collective culture and mission have yet to agree to full heart embrace and mutual cooperation with one another whereby necessary Reality Truth human changes demonstrate and authenticate Adi Da's "Bright" Divine Self Teaching Work, Revelation, Transmission and Realization. This kind of cultism causes harm too. Egoic cultism of any kind has nothing to do with Adi Da himself and his life purpose of service to humanity. He did not enjoy this struggle nor get off on it. Dip your curious toe in and this fact is obvious from the get go. Unless... closed hearted, pre-patterned egoity is your choice of action wherein you blind and armor yourself, becoming unable to freely listen, see and feel clearly."
