Is Adi Da a "Crank"

During and after the Yogically profound Divine Self Emergence Event in 1986, (not an ego self imposed psychotic episode, as some who do not Know "Him" characterize), Bright Adi Da summarily indicated that the most Radical "perfect practice" required surrender of egoic activity and patterns, via recognition responsive ego self transcending devotion.

This asana has to be the nature and process in Bright Yoga, Ruchura Avatara Bhakti. This was not new Instruction.  This Radically New Yoga is based in continuing to preserve True Siddha Yoga, the Transmission from and In Its Source Person, the True Self of "All and all".

In this Consciousness Itself, As Prior Eternal "Time" (Context As Nature), then and now, was/Is Obvious. No amount of maturity or intelligence or philosophy can usurp this requirement.

It is important again to point to a relationship that was and is Alive, the one of Adi Da with his devotee, Crane Kirkbride. During the past 5 years, especially prior to Crane's passing, he and I had an ongoing dialog about Adi Da and Adidam.

Crane knew Adi Da was not a "crank" in terms of any aspect of his persistent criticism of our collective activity. Many of those "most intimate" to Adi Da including, Cheech. Aniello, William, Bill, Rodney, Stanley, Stephan, Mo, Michael,  JM, Jeff, James, Adi Da's daughters and partners, their mothers and partners, primary female intimates and numerous others, shared this knowledge.

I did not and do not stand alone in this Radical Understanding. Adi Da's Summary Criticism of our collective failure is not one of a complaining narcissistic "crank". instead, it is a Summary, Most Fundamental self-understanding in relationship to all of the potentials of the first 6 stages of life, that in a limited manner point to, as experientially profound,  Bright Divine Self  Realization. 

Yet because of a most gross, legal and politically, hierarchically, bureaucratically (functionally) enforced design ( not Truly Sacred), not unlike world politics, continuing to be played out, most all "Listeners" decided that having unlawful (not straight in relationship to all) access to and service to Adi Da's Treasures was more fundamental than integrity of the Reality Process Itself. 

This choice was not NEW. It is the very choice that abused "right, true and lawfully" spiritually transcendental,  esoteric access. This Real and True Access cannot be willed into being by owning and knowing Truth Itself.

Before Crane passed away he was very keen to participate in and support the prevailing challenging of the paradigm that had/has taken hold before and after Adi Da's Mahasamadhi.

Crane wanted to sponsor my going out into the gathering to speak to devotees about Bright Beloved's passionate and urgent "Shout" and the revisions that have "taken over" the Radical Purity of Adi Da's Leela.

This heart desire was thwarted and suppressed by the women (and likely men) who were caring for Crane in His "dying days". These women indicated they did not want to deal with the aftermath of Crane's standing firm in challenging those who took hold of Adi Da's Work.

Crane's support of myself and others who questioned the authorities who took hold of Adi Da's Work and Treasures were again subjugated to a revised mummery narrative. This ploy is not NEW. All great Realizers have been subjugated in this way, as history proves. Why not break this dark spell? 

Crane: "Adi Da's Work has continued over the years, and it has become increasingly obvious to me and many others that he is Pure.... incarnate in a human form.  

One must be prepared to receive the unique "spiritual transmission" of Adi Da. When I have been best prepared, I have sat in front of Him, heart open, even heart-broken, and mind silenced. He transmits the most extraordinary blessing and intimacy, and awakens a profound devotion in those who turn to Him.

However, even such sublime moments are not an end in themselves, and there is no "spiritual status" conferred by them. Such Grace is just the beginning of an ordeal of self-understanding and discriminative intelligence, which alone makes submission to the Divine in the form of the God-Man possible.

Adi Da is even more controversial than great masters of the past. He has broken taboos that others have been unwilling or unable to confront — but which must necessarily be confronted in order to free ordinary human beings from the bondage that locks them in unawareness of God and the Enlightened State. In this sense, Adi Da's work is heroic in the extreme. He lends sanity, meaning, and transcendence to the chaos and superficiality of these times."
