Turiyatita – state of integration where awareness is never lost [“beyond fourth”] /pure consciousness/non-dual awareness
Turīyātīta (तुरीयातीत):—Pratyabhijñā claims that the state of perfection achieved by its sādhana is beyond and above the turīya, the “fourth state” of the Upaniṣads: it is Turīyātīta, Śiva-consciousness, in which the individual experiences the self as identical with the entire universe and with Śiva.
Adi Da from "My Bright Word":
"The gross, the subtle, and the causal are psycho-physical and
temporary in nature. They correspond to the three states—
waking, dreaming, and sleeping—into which experience is
analyzed, in certain traditional texts. As the traditional Indian
texts declare, “Turiya” (or the “Fourth State”) is Prior to these
three conditional states. In other words, the Witness-Consciousness
is the State fundamental to all of those three states.
The Witness is not the religious person, not the Yogi, and not
the intuitive (or causal) seeker, but “Turiya”, the “Fourth State”—
Prior to all conditional states, the Witness of it all. And even
greater than the Witness-Consciousness is Most Perfect Divine
Self-Realization, “Turiyatita”, “Beyond the Fourth”—Unspeakable,
neither formless nor formed, partially intuited but never truly
Known before My Avatarically Self-Revelatory Divine Appearance
here. “Turiyatita” is the “Regenerated” Amrita Nadi, the Perfect
Form of Reality, Whose Very Nature is the True Divine Heart.
Therefore, Truth is not (Itself) to be equated with any conditional
process, with the opening of any particular knot, with the solution
of any particular dilemma."
